The DC6 works with an integrated 220AC power supply, which provides 50W. Thus, 15 cells NiMH / NiCd and lithium batteries 6S with max. 5.0A can be charged. When packs are charged at max. voltage, it can happen that the maximum charge current must be reduced. Through the additional 12VDC input, higher charge currents still can be realized (up to 100W power). 

Thanks to the integrated balancer no separate balancer is required if you charge LiIo / LiPo / LiFe battery. The corresponding adapter cables are included. The integrated balancer for lithium batteries also monitoring during discharging. When the voltage of one cell of a lithium battery pack, during the discharge drops too far, the discharge process will be stopped. 

You can save up to 5 Battery configurations. These data can be quickly accessed to simplify the use of the charger. For NiCd / NiMH batteries a cycle charge/discharge program is available, to refresh and match the cells in the packs. Up to 5 complete cycling processes can be done automatically. 
The DC6 provides data analysis and characteristics of the battery from the charger to the PC via the USB interface. The software can display curve diagram with the values: voltage, current, capacity and temperature. When charging lithium batteries, single cell voltages will be also displayed.
